Simple Pesto Pasta

Use these products


Serves 2
  • 4 Tablespoons Pikt & Chopt Basil paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Pikt & Chopt Garlic paste
  • 1 Handful of pine nuts
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Lemon
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pasta of choice, to serve
  • Salt & Pepper to taste



  1. Place pine nuts, olive oil, Pikt & Chopt Basil and Pikt & Chopt Garlic paste into a heavy pestle and mortar, lightly crush the mixture.
  2. Add the freshly grated parmesan with a drizzle of lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper to the mixture to taste
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta in plenty of salted boiling water, once pasta is cooked, drain pasta.
  4. Plate it up and top with an extra drizzle of olive oil!
